In just a short amount of time we have gone from leveling out the ground, then to laying the foundation, and now the barn is being framed! When I see the framing going up like this it reminds me of a good old fashion barn raising… but do not worry, professionals are working hard on the framing not the neighbors!
This week we are starting to have people come out to see Thistle Springs Ranch and we are excited to get to share the venue with them. As the barn begins to go up you can really start to see different areas and views of the site. If you look closely from this picture you can see the balcony area that comes out from the bride’s dressing room so the bride can enjoy seeing the reception area while it is being decorated.
On Thursday I will be going back down to the ranch and am so excited to see the barn in this next phase. These pictures tell part of the story, but there is something about getting to walk through it and see it in person that just cannot be experienced through photos. If you ever want to come out and visit we would love to have you!

I cannot believe how fast this is all coming together. This is going to be the most beautiful wedding site in north Texas and, knowing the two of you, the most well appointed and functional. I am so impressed that you could do so much in such a shot period of time. Speaks volumes about your ability to make things work well, which is so important in the wedding industry. I am finding out, through planning our daughter’s upcoming wedding, that there are no “do overs” and getting it right the first time is invaluable. I so wish this vision had come to you last year so we could be your first wedding.
